Terms of Service

The rules for using PDF Hub. Please read them once — they are short and in plain English.

Last updated: February 5, 2026

By using pdfhub.space (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with any of them, please don't use the Service. The Service is operated by the PDF Hub Team from India.

1. What you can use PDF Hub for

You can use the tools on PDF Hub for personal, educational and commercial work with PDFs and images you own or have permission to modify. That's it — you don't need a licence, a subscription, or a corporate contract for ordinary use.

2. What you may not do

  • Upload files whose content is illegal in India, or that infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy rights.
  • Upload malware, exploits or files designed to attack our infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to violate someone else's rights (for example, forging a signature on a document you have no authority to sign).
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the free credits, mass-scrape the tools, or resell the service as your own without written permission.
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing or unsolicited messages through the "Send for signature" or workflow-email features.

If we notice systematic abuse we reserve the right to block the offending account or IP range without notice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. You must give us a real email address (we need it to reach you). One person per account, please. If your account is compromised, email us immediately.

4. Ownership of your files

Your uploads stay yours. We claim no rights over the content of documents you process. We only need a limited operational licence to receive, temporarily hold, and process your file long enough to give you back a result — as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Signature requests are electronic signatures, not notarised documents

The "Sign PDF" and "Send for signature" features produce electronic signatures. In India, the Information Technology Act, 2000 recognises certain electronic signatures as legally valid. However, PDF Hub is not a Certifying Authority and does not provide qualified digital signatures issued under CCA India. If your document requires a qualified digital signature (e.g., some government filings), use a certified provider instead.

By signing a document through PDF Hub, you affirm that you have the authority to sign it and that you agree to be bound by its terms. The audit trail we generate is meant to be useful evidence, not a legal guarantee.

6. Credits and rate limits

Free accounts include a monthly credit allowance. Some heavier tools (AI Summarize, Translate, OCR, LibreOffice conversions) consume more credits than lighter ones (merge, rotate). Credits reset at the start of each calendar month. We may adjust the credit allowance over time to keep the Service sustainable.

7. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party providers — Resend for email, an LLM provider for AI tools, Google AdSense for advertising. Their policies also apply when you use those features. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

8. Advertising

Certain pages display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the free tools free. AdSense may set cookies and use identifiers as described in Google's policies. You can control personalised ads at Google Ad Settings.

9. No warranty

PDF Hub is provided "as is" without any warranties. We work to keep the tools accurate, but we can't guarantee that every conversion, OCR result, translation or compression is perfect. Always keep an original of any important document, and verify the output before sending it to a third party.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the PDF Hub Team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service (including data loss, missed deadlines or lost profits). Total aggregate liability, if any is found, is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim — which for the free tools is zero.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the PDF Hub Team against any claims arising from documents you uploaded or shared through the Service if those documents violated someone else's rights or the law.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these Terms. On termination we will delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be settled by good-faith email will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place of business of the operator.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top and, if you have an account, surfaced inside the app the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Contact
