PDF Hub is a free online workspace for working with PDF files. It brings 30+ everyday PDF tools under one roof — from merging and splitting to compression, conversion between formats, signing, OCR and AI-powered summarisation. Nothing to install, no account required for the core utilities, and no vendor lock-in. Every action runs in your browser on top of open, well-known engines (pypdf, PyMuPDF, LibreOffice, Ghostscript, Tesseract).
The site is built around one principle: you shouldn't have to jump between five different websites to prepare a single document. All uploads travel over HTTPS. Yes. Every tool in the grid above is free to use without an account. Free accounts add saved history, workflow saving and per-user credits for the AI tools (Summarizer, Translate). There is no paid plan required for any of the 30 utilities.
Are my uploaded PDFs kept on your servers?▾
No. Regular tools (merge, split, compress, convert, rotate, sign, protect, etc.) write your file to a temporary folder that is deleted the moment processing finishes — usually within seconds. Nothing is written to our database. AI tools (Summarizer, Translate) extract the text and send only that text to a large-language-model provider via the Emergent LLM proxy; the raw PDF is not stored either. Do PDF Hub tools work on mobile phones?▾
Yes. The whole site is a responsive web app — every tool works on iOS Safari 14+ and Chrome for Android. There's nothing to install. The dropzone accepts multi-file selection from the phone's file picker or camera roll, and downloads land in the standard Downloads / Files location on your device.
Which PDF conversion tools are supported?▾

Can I sign a PDF electronically with PDF Hub?▾
Yes. The Sign PDF tool supports signing yourself (drop a signature onto the page) and sending for signature (email a signing link to another party, DocuSign-style, with an audit trail: sent → viewed → signed timestamps). Electronic signatures are legally recognised in many jurisdictions; for high-stakes documents, check the requirements of the specific country and document type.
How large a PDF can I upload?▾
The interface accepts individual files up to about 100 MB — the practical cap set by browsers on a single upload. Larger files should be compressed first with the Compress PDF tool, or split into parts with Split PDF, then processed in batches.
Do you offer an offline desktop app?▾
