The formulas
- What is X% of Y →
(X / 100) × Y. Example: 15% of 200 = 30. - X is what % of Y →
(X / Y) × 100. Example: 30 is 20% of 150. - % change from X to Y →
((Y − X) / X) × 100. Positive is an increase, negative is a decrease. Example: 80 → 100 is a 25% increase.
