Meetings across borders
Enter a meeting time in your local zone and see instantly what time it becomes for your client, partner, or team member on the other side of the world. All zones come from the IANA time zone database (via your browser), so daylight-saving transitions are handled automatically.
How the Time Zone Converter Works
This tool converts time between cities and countries around the world. Every time zone has a fixed offset from UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) — India, for example, is UTC+5:30. The tool first converts your chosen time to UTC, then applies the target time zone's offset to compute the local time there.
The trickiest part is handling Daylight Saving Time (DST) correctly — many countries shift their clocks forward or back at different times of the year, and the exact dates vary by country. The tool relies on an up-to-date time zone database (the IANA time zone database) that tracks each region's DST rules, so the offset stays correct even as it changes across the calendar year.
This makes it especially useful for people scheduling meetings across international teams, planning calls or webinars, or coordinating with remote colleagues abroad. Displaying multiple cities' times side by side makes it easy to find a workable meeting slot and avoid the common mistake of scheduling a call at the wrong local hour.
