Organize PDF: drag-and-drop page reorder

Reorder or delete PDF pages with a visual thumbnail grid.

Organize PDF lets you reorder, remove or duplicate pages without leaving your browser. Every page is rendered as a thumbnail; you drag them into the order you want, click × to remove any that shouldn't be in the final document, and download the reorganised PDF.

Because thumbnails are generated on the server (via PyMuPDF), you don't need any client-side PDF library — the drag-and-drop works even on modest hardware.

How to use it

  1. 1Upload the PDF.
  2. 2Wait a few seconds while thumbnails are generated.
  3. 3Drag the thumbnails into the order you want.
  4. 4Click × on any page you want to remove.
  5. 5Press Apply & Download — the new PDF is delivered instantly.

Real-world use cases

  • Move an appendix that was scanned first to the end of a report.
  • Remove blank cover sheets left over from a scanner.
  • Reverse the order of pages photographed bottom-up.
  • Deduplicate accidentally scanned pages.

Supported formats & limits

Input: any PDF up to ~60 pages for smooth thumbnail generation. Larger PDFs work too but thumbnail loading is slower.

Privacy

Your uploaded file is written to a temporary folder on our server, processed, and deleted by the operating system as soon as the request finishes — typically within seconds. Nothing is stored in our database. Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose quality when I reorder?

No. Only the page order is changed — the content, fonts and images are copied byte-for-byte from the source PDF.

Can I add pages from another PDF?

Not from within Organize. Use Merge PDF first to combine, then Organize to reorder.

What if I need to include a page multiple times?

Currently duplication is not supported through the visual UI — merge the same PDF into itself twice and then organise.

Is there a page limit?

The visual UI streams up to 60 thumbnails by default. If your PDF has more, the last pages are still included in the output — only the visual grid is capped.
