Merge PDF files online
Combine multiple PDFs into a single document — with the order and pages you actually want.
Merge PDF joins two or more PDF files into one. You can add as many files as you like, drag them into the order you want, and download a single combined PDF. There is no page limit imposed by the tool itself; the practical limit is the size your browser can upload in one request (usually around 100 MB per file on a normal connection).
The output preserves the original page size, orientation and any embedded fonts of each source PDF. If your PDFs have different page sizes, each page keeps its own dimensions in the combined file — nothing is scaled or cropped without asking.
How to use it
- 1Click the upload area and pick two or more PDF files (or drag them from your file manager).
- 2Drag the file cards to change the order — the top file becomes the first pages of the result.
- 3Remove any file you added by mistake with the × icon.
- 4Press Merge PDF. When processing finishes, the combined file downloads automatically.
- 5Open it in any PDF viewer to verify the page order before sending it on.
Real-world use cases
- Combine multiple invoices from different vendors into a single monthly expense report.
- Bundle chapters of a scanned book, or lecture notes from different classes, into one file.
- Assemble a job application: cover letter + résumé + certificates in the right order.
- Prepare a court or tender submission that has to be uploaded as one document.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number of PDFs I can merge?▾
No hard limit is set by the tool. In practice, browsers start to struggle when the combined upload approaches a few hundred megabytes. If you hit a limit, merge in two stages: combine batches first, then combine the results.
Will my page order be preserved?▾
Yes. The file order in the upload list is the final page order in the merged PDF. Drag the cards up or down before pressing Merge to change it.
Does Merge PDF re-render pages or reduce quality?▾
No. Merge is a lossless operation — the underlying pages, images and fonts are copied from the source PDFs into the output. Use the Compress PDF tool separately if you want a smaller file.
Can I merge encrypted / password-protected PDFs?▾
Not directly. Use the Unlock PDF tool first to remove the password (only for files you own), then merge the unlocked copies.
What happens to my file after I merge it?▾
It is deleted from the server automatically when the request finishes. See the section 'Privacy' above and the full Privacy Policy for details.
